There are a lot of different water storage containers on the market and some are cheaper that this one here. I like these as they have a slim profile and work well to stack on a shelf in the garage or in the back of my vehicle. This can is also durable and can take a beating some of the other options tend to leak over time. This is not for large storage of water but great to bring on trips or to have at base camp.

Okay out of all my water filters this is my absolute favorite! This little guy weighs in at 2 ounces and can filter 100,000 gallons of water!!! This thing just keeps on giving. It also attaches to certain water bottles and fits most 2 litter bottles as well. So if you have to scavenge on old bottle you could fill it up with water attach the filter and drink away. For the size and weight you might as well buy two of these guys and get rid of your old out of date backpacking filters!

Water is heavy and tough to store as we all know. These pouches are great to put in your pantry, your car, get home, and your Bug Out Bag. You obviously are not going to weigh yourself down by carrying 3 days of water that’s just silly. These are perfect to grab a refresh on the go, to help cook an MRE or other food stores. If you plan on bugging In add a few boxes of these under the bed as an emergency water solution.

Ok if you are looking for something that is a little smaller than the lifestraw then you have found it. This is limited in the amount that it can filter (only 50 gallons) but its the right size for a get home bag for sure!

There is nothing easy about this prep…water is bulky and heavy as all get out! But these bad boys stack nicely under the bed or in the closet. I put a case in each of our cars incase theres trouble on a road trip. 50 Year shelf lifeworks for me. Okay so I have one of these and they are amazing. I bought the steal version for durability and it is a work horse. Two years on the same filter and it’s still pumping out fresh water. This is great to have on your counter and it’s even better for a bug in or out situation. If you can bug out in a car this thing stacks inside of it’s self so it shrinks in size. It’s perfect for a base camp filter on the way to your bug out location. This thing strips everything out of the water! It’s bit pricey but worth every penny!
